Guess who made The Fast Company 50 list for 2009? You guessed it! LEGO! Fast Company names LEGO number 41 out of the World’s 50 Most Innovating Companies for 2009.
“How much can you improve a 51-year-old plastic toy brick? Lots. Lego has undergone a dramatic turnaround, swinging from a $300 million loss in 2004 to a $280 million profit in 2007 and continued double-digit growth last year.”

The Team at LEGO Reel has put together a “Meet the Actors” page which offers actor bios and insight into the lives of their LEGO stars. This is truly amusing! Here is one of our favorites…
Miner Bob
Miner Bob has a rather weird personality. He carries a pickaxe all the time and drives Lego mining machine, because it all makes him look very important.
Miner Bob has starred in most of the Lego movies we’ve made, either as a prominent character, or as a background extra. This isn’t because we really need Miner Bob in these movies. He just kind of invites himself over puts himself into a scene whether we ask him to or not. He does it because it makes him look important!
Movies Miner Bob appears in: Like, Every single Lego Reel Movie. Ever.
